I absolutely love getting emails from you guys with photos of the finished products you’ve made from my patterns. Not only does it make me happy to know that my patterns work, but you come up with some of the coolest variations!
Whether it’s interesting color combos, creative embellishments, or unique uses, your out-of-the-box thinking really does inspire me. I want to share a few of my favorite photos with all of you so that you can be inspired, too. They are variations on the following patterns:
And if YOU would like to be considered for a future “Inspiration Saturday”, email a photo of your finished project(s) to me at email@example.com!
Without further ado, here are three of my favorites!
Pansy Planter by Luisa (View her Ravelry profile here)
Luisa from Italy took my Pansy flower pattern to a new level. She made it into a whole plant! What a cute way to brighten up your living room or office, without having to worry about keeping it alive! 🙂 So creative, Luisa!
Pansy Shadowbox Art by Sus (View her Ravelry profile here)
Sus from Missouri used my Pansy flower pattern, inexpensive yarn and a shadowbox to create this beautiful piece of office decor. With 12 pansies of all different color schemes (whew!), it’s sure to brighten up her workspace! Love it, Sus!
Colorful Market Tote by Amanda (View her Facebook page here)
Amanda from Ohio added a splash of color to my Market Tote Bag pattern and came up with this beautiful variation. Using Red Heart Super Saver yarn and embellishing it with cute little crochet flowers, she is definitely helping to bring Spring to Ohio. (And goodness knows we’re ready for Spring here in the Midwest, right?!) Beautiful, Amanda!
Lined Market Tote by Faith
Faith from Michigan took my Market Tote Bag pattern and made it stronger and more beautiful by adding a colorful lining to the inside, as well as matching fabric flowers on the outside. I am absolutely in love with how it turned out, and I really need to learn how to sew so I can start adding linings to my bags, too! Thanks for the inspiration, Faith!
I LOVE to see what you create, so send your finished product photos to me at firstname.lastname@example.org, or upload them to Ravelry and email me so I know where to look. Keep them coming!
